This retreat is being led by Rev. Mike and Jennifer Brost, LMHC. Mike is an ordained minister of 25 years. Jennifer has spent the past 13 years working as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, specializing in couples work. Guest speakers and other counselors (such as John Church) will help you grow, and be available for coaching you through the Connection Exercises.
*These topics and this retreat are based Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT), the most scientifically validated and effective form of couples counseling. Dr. Sue Johnson, pioneer of EFCT, together with Kenneth Sanderfer, adapted their classic “Hold Me Tight” retreat to point out how the approach naturally falls in line with the Bible.
