Maria’s Big House of Hope
Steven Curtis Chapman and his wife Mary Beth have opened a new “House of Hope” in China. Maria’s Big House of Hope is a six-story “healing home” for special needs orphans. The 60,000 square foot building will have 190 nurses and nannies on staff and 128 beds available. The building is named in loving memory of Chapman’s 5-year old daughter Maria Sue. The Chapmans adopted her from China as a special needs orphan when she was only one year old. And last year Maria was killed in a tragic accident. For more information visit www.ShowHope.org.
