I just want to pass along that you can also get carbon monoxide from your car. My daughter was in college and for 4 months always sick. The doctors were testing her for EVERYTHING! Finally we found she had a bad crack in the exhaust manifold of her car. When she told the doctors this, they checked her blood levels which were very high. They said, "We thought of carbon monoxide, but your roommates were fine." By this time it was too late, damage was already done. I watched her health deteriorate until she died at the age of 28.
