i called in on the morning show about praying when i brush my teeth, my friend reminded me i do another ‘odd’ thing to add God to each and every day. i set the alarm on my wrist watch to beep every hour once. this way i am reminded to say a little prayer inside my head to thank God each hour. sometimes it is just a quick thank you, other times i am able to pray for more. Love the new look. It will get some adjusting to, but I miss the box of who is playing currently and the list of the last songs that was played, but this is a good and fresh look.

this mornings show really made me stop and think. God has been moving in my life so much in the last few weeks. He has provided for me through my friends, church and Gearheads Ministry. I wasn’t sure where my kids next meal was going to come from or if my van would make it to work tommorrow or if they would forclose on my house tommorrow. I am working on digging myself out of a big hole i have found myself in after filing for divorce last summer and it has been a real struggle. I am reminded daily of God’s awesome power and love for all of HIS children.

As a new single, I no longer have dates, flowers, or surprises from a spouse. Please consider a wider variety of subjects on your daily programs. Many listeners like myself don’t identify with the topics of dating and marriage. I am a faithful listener, but I’ll tune back in on Feb 16th or so.

Hey Julia,
Did you put hearts on your Christmas tree?
I listen every morning but this morning I sooo appreciated your program. I was also frantic trying to find my cell phone just like you are. This time, my phone was next to my computer where I had worked until 11:00 last night. The Last time I lost it, I got an email from my son’s teacher saying his bag kept buzzing and they realized he had a “real” working phone in it. My son, has a fixation on phones and he always gives me his to keep for him for after school. He is in a special education class here in CR. I, in turn, always sneek it back into his bag, so that whoever picks him up from daycare has it for him at the end of the day. That day, I slipped my phone in his bag instead. I am a teacher and have my alarms set for a child in my class to remember to take his medicine. Hence, the buzzing bag! So, maybe try the girls bookbags or the diaper bag. Good luck!
