Family=Prep

This weekend Amy and I are dedicating Bekah at our church.  Basically, this means that Amy and I are committing to raise Bekah the best that we can and teach her about God and how to live for Him.  This also means that both our families are coming to town this weekend.  Last night, this translated into cleaning.  The dishes were washed, the laundry was done, the couch slipcovers were washed and put back on and the coffee table was organized.  It’s really nice when you get done, and you take a glance at how awesome the house looks.  Then you try not to think about what it’ll look like Sunday night after everyone heads home.

Dawn Treader Finds a Bay

Original plans for the Chronicles of Narnia films involved a trilogy, for Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe, Prince Caspian, and Voyage of the Dawn Treader.  However, after Prince Caspian didn’t perform as well in the theater as Disney would have liked, they decided to drop the series.  This meant that Dawn Treader was left hanging in limbo.  Now, to the joy of Narnia fans, Fox has decided to pick up the final movie. Filming will hopefully begin at the end of the summer, and you and your family could be enjoying it in theaters around Christmas of 2010.  Looks like it’s time to dust off my copies of the Narnia books and brush up.
