One of the reasons for the current economic situation was the collapse of the housing market.  Now, Iowa’s Attorney General is warning that some con-artists are trying to trick you out of your money by offering what they claim is help.  Some signs of a con-artist may include them asking for money up-front for their services, claiming they a “special relationship” with a bank or lender, or asking you to not talk to your lender or banker because they’ll do it for you, those are all signs of a scam.  You can learn more here in this article from the Courier.
