Homework Helper

School is back in session, which means your kids back to homework.  It also means there’s a good chance they’ll need some help with homework, (especially if they fell asleep during class).  Some courses are easy to help with (First Grade Math) but others will stump you every time.  I’ve already decided to put Calculus on the future black list.  So which subjects do your dread your child asking for help on?

Halloween Shopping?

I’ll be honest, I haven’t been out shopping in a while.  Which is odd.  Usually my wife Amy has me run out for something here and there.  All this to say that while I can’t confirm it with my own eyes, the rumor is that Halloween decorations are out already, which means the Christmas decorations should be on shelves in around 2 weeks right?  In all seriousness, it seems more ridiculous to me every year how early all the holiday decorations go on sale.  The holidays don’t seem as fun if the decorations have been up for 4 months.  What do you think?  If it was up to you, when would holiday items go on sale?
