Even though the summer is winding down and school is in full swing, I think we can all be thankful that snow isn’t here yet.  I’m just not quite ready to slip and slide around the roads on my way to work and where ever else.  It turns out that owners of some recent Toyotas can be thankful as well.  Toyota is recalling 95,000 of their 2009 and 2010 Corollas as well some 2008 and 2009 Scion vehicles.  The reason? In the winter, ice can build up on the brakes making it difficult to stop (which is difficult enough in Iowa during the winter the way it is.).  You can learn more about the recall here.
