Flu of the Pigs
There’s a lot of talk of swine flu running around, and to be honest, it can sound pretty scary. Not only does the disease sound relatively contagious, but who really wants a disease that a pig had once? In all seriousness, one of the most important things to do in this kind of situation is to not freak out. The CDC (Center for Disease Control) offers these tips to help prevent the spread of swine flu:
-Most importantly: Wash Your Hands
-Stay in good general health: Get plenty of sleep, be physically active, manage your stress, drink plenty of fluids, and eat nutritious food.
-Avoid touching surfaces that could be contaminated.
-Finally, avoid close contact with those who are sick.
