Refrigerators are designed to keep things cold.  Due to some defects in recent Maytag refrigerators, they might do the exact opposite.  Over 1.6 million units could have an electrical problem in the relay which could cause a fire.  The last thing I want when I put my orange juice in the fridge is for it to be boiling.
