Relax, Don’t Explode

Aromatherapy is supposed to help provide some relaxation to live.  But a recent aromatherapy product sold in stores, could cause some injury instead.  Some Spa Factory™ Aromatherapy Kits could actually explode! Carbon dioxide can build up pressure inside the jar, and the pressure gets release by the cap exploding.  You can find out which products are included and obtain replacement lids here.

What’s in a Name?

One of things I heard a lot  growing up was that I “was unique and special.”  Now, thanks a new website called “How Many of Me?” you can find out just how unique you are.  When you visit, you can enter your first and last name, and it’ll tell you how many of you there are in the US.  When I put in my full first name, Michael, I was informed that are 17 Michael Lansers in the US.  When I shortened to Mike…well let’s just say, there’s only one me.

Dawn Treader Finds a Bay

Original plans for the Chronicles of Narnia films involved a trilogy, for Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe, Prince Caspian, and Voyage of the Dawn Treader.  However, after Prince Caspian didn’t perform as well in the theater as Disney would have liked, they decided to drop the series.  This meant that Dawn Treader was left hanging in limbo.  Now, to the joy of Narnia fans, Fox has decided to pick up the final movie. Filming will hopefully begin at the end of the summer, and you and your family could be enjoying it in theaters around Christmas of 2010.  Looks like it’s time to dust off my copies of the Narnia books and brush up.

The Grass is Always Greener…

One of the toughest things to learn in life is to be content with what you have.  This was proven by a recent survey done by the Pew Research Center.  It turns out that almost half of Americans wish they lived somewhere else. For some it’s another city, others want to move from the country to the city or vice versa.  I think there’s an easy solution here.  Just have everyone who’s not happy with where they live switch with someone else.  Then give them all two months, and they’ll want to switch back.
